Leah Calegari, Owner

Leah Calegari is the owner of LC Compliance LLC, an SBA-certified Women-Owned Small Business and National Women’s Business Enterprise (NWBE™) providing contract management support to government contractors nationwide.

Leah brings more than 20 years of senior-level contracts management and proposal support experience with both large and small government contractors, including L-3 Communications, General Dynamics Information Technology, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, G2 Software Systems, and Sundance Consultants, LLC, a True Environmental company. Her work has covered the full contract lifecycle, from proposal development and negotiations through administration of IDIQ contracts and GSA vehicles, with a constant focus on FAR and DFARS compliance.

She has supported contracts across a broad range of defense and civilian agencies. Her defense work includes the U.S. Navy, including the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) and the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR, formerly SPAWAR), as well as the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). On the civilian side, she has supported the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Department of Agriculture (USDA), including the U.S. Forest Service (USFS). Within the Department of the Interior, she has supported the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and National Park Service (NPS). She has also worked with state agencies, commercial entities, and major subcontractors.

Leah holds a Master of Legal Studies from Pepperdine University School of Law, which grounds her practical contracting experience in a strong understanding of contract law and risk.

Leah founded LC Compliance to give contractors of every size access to senior-level contracts expertise when they need it most. Having worked inside both large primes and small businesses, she understands the pressures each one faces. For prime contractors, that means flexible support during busy periods and a Women-Owned Small Business partner to help meet subcontracting goals. For small, mid-size, and new businesses, it means agreements drafted and reviewed with the care of an experienced contracts professional. Based in San Diego, Leah supports clients remotely across the country.
